U.S. stocks closed higher this morning, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq both hitting new highs, while SK Hynix fell more than 6%.

BlockBeats news, October 7th, according to BIT (bit.com) market data, U.S. stocks closed on Tuesday with the Dow initially up 0.49%, the S&P 500 up 0.58%, and the Nasdaq up 0.45%, with the latter two setting new closing highs.


The storage sector fell broadly, with Micron down 1.73%, SanDisk down 2.56%, Seagate Technology down 9%, Western Digital down nearly 7%, and SK Hynix (SKHY.O) down more than 6%.


Among cryptocurrency-related stocks, MSTR rose 0.07%, CRCL rose 1.03%, COIN fell 1.32%, SBET fell 0.94%, BMNR fell 2.19%, and HOOD fell 1.85%.
