动察 Beating AI Brief: OpenAI's Head of Product and Platform, Thibault Sottiaux, announced the first-day update of a 28-day product sprint. The default generation speed of GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6.1 Sol has been optimized, with the company saying overall performance improved by about 50%.

This speed boost covers not only Codex and ChatGPT Work. Third-party products that use ChatGPT subscription credits through "Sign in with ChatGPT" will also benefit simultaneously, including OpenCode, Pi, Amp, and Devin. Users do not need to change any settings; the update will be rolled out automatically.

OpenAI previously promised that for the next 28 days, it would either deliver one update each day that clearly improves the experience for most Codex / Work users, or directly reset users' credits. This speed boost is Day 1.
