Julius Baer: Expects the Fed to raise rates by 25 basis points in December, followed by a longer pause.

BlockBeats news, October 6th, Switzerland's top pure private bank and wealth management group Julius Baer expects the Federal Reserve to make its last 25 basis point rate hike in December, followed by a longer pause.

The bank noted that the U.S. labor market is cooling, and financial conditions are tightening significantly, driven mainly by rising long-term Treasury yields and a stronger dollar, rather than by short-term interest rate increases. December is now seen as the most likely window for the last rate hike.
