BlockBeats news, October 6: NEAR Protocol stated that MyNearWallet, a non-custodial wallet in the NEAR ecosystem, will cease operations on October 31, and users need to migrate to a new wallet or access method. NEAR emphasized that user assets remain stored on-chain and are not custodied by MyNearWallet, so the wallet's retirement will not affect the on-chain assets themselves.

Officials recommend that users conduct a small test before migrating and retain the original wallet recovery information until all balances are confirmed transferred. MyNearWallet will subsequently gradually shift to migration and recovery functions.
