BlockBeats news, October 6 — Solana treasury company DeFi Development announced that since September 28 it has increased its holdings by approximately 26,203 SOL, bringing its total holdings of SOL and SOL equivalents to approximately 2,564,212, valued at about $302 million. Since reporting second-quarter results on August 12, its SOL treasury has grown by approximately 11%.
Based on preliminary estimates as of September 30, compared with August 12, DFDV's third-quarter SOL per share (SPS) is expected to achieve double-digit growth, net asset value per share (NAV) is expected to grow by more than 100%, and total SOL and SOL equivalents are also expected to achieve double-digit growth. During the same period, the company's nominal borrowings denominated in SOL declined, while cash and cash equivalents grew by more than 100%.
DFDV said the newly established $300 million CHAD ATM program will provide additional growth capital. The company plans to continue accumulating SOL through capital deployment and organic treasury growth, and to improve asset utilization through staking and validator operations. The above quarterly figures are still preliminary estimates, and final published results may differ.
