BlockBeats news, October 5 — According to official sources, over the past week, Bitmine increased its holdings by 15,112 ETH. As of 6:30 PM Eastern Time on October 4, 2026, Bitmine's crypto holdings include:
· 6,016,414 ETH
· 214 BTC;
· a $180 million stake in Beast Industries;
· a $117 million stake in Eightco Holdings;
· and a total of $643 million in cash and marketable securities.
Tom Lee said: "Given the significant macro headwinds that occurred during the quarter, including a 'hawkish' Federal Reserve, soaring oil prices, rising global bond yields, and generally tightening financial conditions, it is noteworthy that ETH outperformed the S&P 500 by 6,832 basis points in the third quarter of 2026. Quarter to date, ETH has outperformed by 6,832 basis points, dwarfing other macro assets."
As of October 4, 2026, the total amount of ETH staked by Bitmine was 5,067,309 (approximately $13.8 billion at $2,726 per ETH). ETH staking rewards are expected to reach $431 million annualized (using a 2.63% 7-day BMNR yield).
Tom Lee said: "Annualized staking revenue is currently projected at $363 million. These 5.1 million ETH account for 84% of the 6.02 million ETH held by Bitmine. Bitmine's proprietary staking business generated a 2.63% 7-day yield (annualized)."
