BAYC co-founder responds to 'BAYC ruined NFTs' controversy: The real problem is the flood of copycat projects.

BlockBeats news, October 5th, NFT whale Pranksy posted on the X platform, stating that "BAYC ruined NFTs," claiming that the technology of NFTs itself was overshadowed by the image of avatar projects like BAYC, and the public ultimately equated NFTs with ape projects, followed by years of numerous copycat projects in the market.

In response, BAYC co-founder Greg Solano said that Pranksy had sold BAYC assets originally potentially worth $500 million for millions of dollars and continued to promote a large number of copycat projects. She had founded multiple NFT-related companies, but these projects have now all been removed from her personal profile. Greg Solano also angrily retorted, "Either be the change you want to see, or enjoy the wealth BAYC brought."
