NEAR co-founder shares ecosystem development directions: AI and privacy applications become key focuses.

BlockBeats news, October 3rd, NEAR co-founder Illia (root.near) posted that in the past few weeks, a large number of new and old developers have been building in the NEAR ecosystem, while development tools and processes have also become simpler. What developers currently need to focus on thinking about is "what products to build, and how to gain user distribution."

Illia listed multiple potential application directions. These include an AI Tamagotchi based on NEAR AI, achieving verifiable reasoning through on-chain prompts, with each character existing as an NFT and bound to NEAR for paying inference fees, while adding game mechanics such as feeding, dressing up, and competition; as well as a universal payment component that allows any merchant or application to integrate a "checkout" button, enabling users to complete payments through any wallet and on-chain assets, with plans to promote its entry into commercial scenarios such as Shopify.

In addition, Illia also proposed an AI encyclopedia combined with prediction markets, a private OTC market based on NEAR Intents, a "Never get liquidated" tool that automatically manages lending and perpetual contract positions to reduce liquidation risk, and an application for on-chain event registration and fund custody.

In terms of privacy and enterprise applications, Illia mentioned that NEAR AI can be used to build private code review tools, enterprise equity and financing management systems, private medical AI second opinions, private meeting notes tools, and an AI model evaluation platform based on private test sets.

For trading and financial scenarios, Illia also proposed using NEAR Intents to build Delta Neutral strategy tools, as well as products supporting private transactions and social copy trading, allowing users to sell viewing permissions for other users to track trading performance.

In terms of ecosystem promotion, Illia stated that developers can obtain support through NEAR Legion and ensure applications are compatible with Aurora Intent Connect, so that users of different chains and wallets can participate without cross-chain; at the same time, they should also expand influence through community cooperation, product distribution channels such as Product Hunt, and the X platform.
