BlockBeats news, October 2 - Federal Reserve Vice Chair for Supervision Michelle Bowman said on Thursday, "I currently do not see the urgency for taking further action. There is no need for further rate adjustments this year."
Bowman stated that Fed officials should take some time to understand current economic trends and the impact of the September rate hike on the economy before deciding whether to further adjust policy.
She said, "Inflation remains above our target. What we need is a better understanding of the trends."
