Anthropic discloses signing a computing power agreement with SpaceX worth up to $84.5 billion

BlockBeats news, September 29, according to Reuters, AI startup Anthropic disclosed in its confidential IPO filing that it has signed an agreement with SpaceX, planning to pay up to $84.5 billion by 2029 to use SpaceX's AI computing resources based on Nvidia chips.

Most of the relevant agreements can be terminated with 90 days' advance notice. This amount is significantly higher than the related scale previously disclosed by SpaceX. In May this year, Anthropic announced a computing power leasing agreement with SpaceX.

SpaceX's previously submitted listing documents showed that Anthropic agreed to pay $1.25 billion per month, with a contract term of up to approximately three years, totaling nearly $45 billion, and also including a 90-day cancellation clause.
