BlockBeats news, September 29 — According to an announcement on the official website of Japan's Financial Services Agency, the FSA announced on September 29, 2026 that it has approved the fourth support case of the "FinTech Proof-of-Concept Hub · Payment Advancement Project (PIP)," jointly applied for by TradeWaltz, NTT Data, Mizuho Bank, MUFG Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, and Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation.
This proof-of-concept experiment will verify the practical application of stablecoins in trade transaction fund settlement and sort out related legal issues. The experiment period starts from September 2026. After the experiment concludes, the FSA will publish the experiment results and relevant conclusions at the compliance and regulatory level on its official website.
