BlockBeats news, September 28: Solana treasury company DeFi Development Corp. (Nasdaq: DFDV) announced that since September 21, it has added approximately 47,706 SOL, bringing its SOL and equivalents holdings to approximately 2.538 million, with a total value of approximately $309 million, an increase of about 2% from last week.
Since announcing its second-quarter results on August 12, DFDV has accumulated more than 226,000 SOL, with its holdings growing by about 10%. The company said it will continue to expand its SOL reserves through purchases, staking, and validator node operations, and will use the recently established $300 million CHAD ATM financing facility to support further accumulation.
In addition, DFDV said that its Nasdaq-listed variable-rate preferred stock CHAD currently has an annualized dividend yield of 13%, and the company plans to use income generated from SOL staking and validator node operations to provide a source of revenue for CHAD dividends.
