BlockBeats news, September 28: Hong Kong stablecoin payment company RedotPay announced that it has completed a financial audit and a review of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing controls, both conducted by one of the Big Four accounting firms (the company did not disclose the specific name). The financial audit is a necessary component of a U.S. IPO prospectus, while the compliance review is another part of the listing preparation.
Earlier in August, reports said RedotPay had postponed its U.S. listing due to regulatory approvals and legal issues. A company spokesperson explicitly denied this: "Our IPO has not been postponed, and we are continuing to advance the listing process with our partners." The company did not provide a specific listing date. RedotPay allows users to hold stablecoins in its app, make purchases through a linked Visa card, and complete cross-border transfers.
