Nano Labs founder Kong Jianping's X account regained control after falling victim to a phishing attack.

BlockBeats news, September 28: U.S. stock market BNB crypto treasury company Nano Labs and its chairman Kong Jianping stated that their X account had previously suffered a phishing attack and has now successfully regained control.

Kong Jianping said that the attacker sent a phishing email to his publicly commonly used email address. His AI assistant mistakenly identified the fake link in the email as the official X verification page, causing him to enter the verification code sent by X to the bound email into the phishing page, ultimately leading to the account being stolen; during this period, the account briefly posted several fraudulent messages.

Kong Jianping reminded users not to click on non-official links, and to remain vigilant even if AI judges a link to be trustworthy. He also suggested setting the email bound to X to an email address that is not easily known to outsiders, in order to reduce the risk of account theft.
