BlockBeats news, September 26: Bitget has announced that it will restore withdrawals in phases. The vulnerability involved in the security incident has been identified and fixed. The suspension of withdrawals was a security measure and is unrelated to the availability of user assets. Account balances were not affected, and financial losses will be covered by the protection fund. Mandiant and SlowMist are still assisting with the investigation. Trading and deposits remain normal.
The withdrawal plan will proceed according to the following schedule (UTC+8):
September 28, 16:00: BTC (Bitcoin network) will open;
September 29, 16:00: ETH (Ethereum, BSC, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism) will open;
September 30, 16:00: USDT (Ethereum, BSC, Solana, Tron) will open;
October 2, 16:00: other tokens, fiat currency, and P2P will open.
Bitget stated that the incident is under control, unauthorized transfers will not happen again, users do not need to take action in advance, and the opening progress is subject to the platform display and official channels.
