Meituan's LongCat-2.5 Preview Version Launches: Native Multimodal, Focused on Long-Horizon Agents

The model retains LongCat-2.0's 1.6T total parameters, approximately 48B activated parameters, and 1M token context, but adds native multimodal capabilities, beginning to execute long-horizon tasks across scenarios including terminals, browsers, desktop software, spreadsheets, and design tools.

LongCat-2.5-Preview is now integrated into the official API, while also compatible with OpenAI and Anthropic interfaces, with a maximum output length of 128K tokens. The official team has also provided integration methods for Codex, OpenCode, OpenClaw, and CatPaw, allowing existing Agent tools to call it directly.

Meituan is also giving all existing users 5 million free tokens to experience the new model, and existing token packages remain usable. However, the official team has not yet published benchmarks for LongCat-2.5, so there is currently no public data available to compare how much GUI operation and long-horizon tasks have improved.
