U.S. stocks closed higher with all three major indices up, Apple hit a record closing high again, while cryptocurrency-related stocks fell against the market trend.

Semiconductor, storage, and optical communications sectors rose broadly, while crypto-related stocks fell broadly. Apple rose more than 1%, setting a new record closing high, with its total market capitalization approaching $5 trillion.
