Analyst: Bitcoin long-term holders' realized profits are far below previous highs, and they may continue to hold.

BlockBeats news, September 25 — CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost posted that Bitcoin long-term holders (LTHs) are typically more stable than short-term holders (STHs) and less sensitive to market volatility. Therefore, observing the capital activity of long-term holders helps gauge their selling pressure.

Data shows that long-term holders' current realized profit is approximately 72%. Although this level appears high, it remains far below previous market cyclical peaks. For example, in December 2024, long-term holders' realized profit once approached 350%.

Currently, long-term holders are in a relatively moderate profit-taking phase, with levels close to those during previous bear markets. This may prompt most long-term holders to continue waiting rather than immediately selling on a large scale.
