BlockBeats news, September 25: Bitget CEO Gracy Chen posted that Bitget is collaborating with independent third-party experts Mandiant and SlowMist to conduct a comprehensive investigation into this platform security incident. The platform will continue to release the latest updates through official channels.
She also emphasized that protecting users is Bitget's current top priority, user balances remain intact, and the Bitget User Protection Fund will cover the impact caused by this platform-level incident. Bitget Wallet is a self-custodial wallet that uses infrastructure completely separate and independent from Bitget Exchange, and therefore was not affected by this incident.
Currently, deposit, trading, and rewards functions on Bitget Exchange are still operating normally. Withdrawal functions will remain suspended during additional security verification, and will be reopened as soon as the platform confirms it can safely resume them.
