Nearly $400 million liquidated across the network in the past 12 hours, Bitcoin contract trading congestion temporarily eased.

BlockBeats news, September 24th, according to Coinglass data, following Bitcoin's brief drop below 84,000 last night, nearly $400 million was liquidated across the network in the past 12 hours, with $360 million in long positions liquidated.


From the perspective of Bitcoin coin-margined open interest data, after this adjustment, contract trading congestion has temporarily eased. As of press time, the network-wide Bitcoin contract open interest has once again fallen below 700,000 BTC, currently reported at 681,000 BTC. Contract open interest long-short ratio data shows that Bitcoin currently has a majority of short positions, with a long-short ratio of 0.8628.
