Iranian President: Iran will never 'bow' to the US, but is willing to resolve conflicts through diplomacy.

BlockBeats news, September 24: Iranian President Pezeshkian said in a speech at the United Nations General Assembly that although the war with the United States and Israel has lasted nearly 7 months, Iran "will never kneel," but it is still willing to resolve the conflict through diplomatic channels.

Pezeshkian responded to U.S. President Trump's earlier threat that if an agreement cannot be reached as soon as possible, Iran will be "destroyed." He stated that sanctions, pressure, and "bullying" will only further strengthen the resistance will of the Iranian people.

Pezeshkian said that any agreement must include the United States ending its blockade of Iranian ships and ports, and stated that "not everyone can benefit from the Strait of Hormuz while Iran is banned from passage."

The Strait of Hormuz normally carries about one-fifth of the world's oil and natural gas transportation. Since the outbreak of the war at the end of February, affected by Iranian attacks on commercial ships and the U.S. blockade, the strait has effectively been closed.

On Tuesday local time, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi and U.S. Special Envoy Witkoff held indirect talks during the United Nations General Assembly under Qatari mediation.
