BlockBeats news, September 23, according to official sources, Blockchain.com and the New York Stock Exchange Group (NYSE) today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), planning to enable Blockchain.com's user base to access tokenized U.S. exchange-listed stocks and ETFs on the digital ATS previously announced by NYSE, subject to any necessary regulatory approvals. This collaboration aims to expand NYSE's reach to crypto-native investors through Blockchain.com's global customer base.
As Citi Research predicts that the base case scale of tokenized assets will reach $5.5 trillion by 2030, innovation and adoption of tokenized securities have accelerated in recent years. Tokenized stocks may offer partial ownership, 24-hour trading decoupled from market opening hours, investment access for investors worldwide, and faster, more transparent on-chain settlement.
Additionally, the MOU includes two-way market data distribution between the two companies' respective platforms. NYSE's affiliated business ICE Data Services plans to distribute Blockchain.com's crypto market data and analytics to subscribing clients, providing traditional investors with more intelligence on digital asset investment opportunities. Blockchain.com plans to integrate certain ICE and NYSE exchange data feeds into its application, enabling over 44 million verified accounts to access real-time stock information.
