BlockBeats news, September 19: Singapore-based payment platform Dtcpay has completed its Series A funding round, expanding its total funding to $25 million. The round was initially led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India in April, followed by Japan's financial group SBI Group as a strategic investor, with participation from Genedant Capital and existing shareholder Kwee Liong Tek.
Dtcpay holds regulatory approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and an electronic financial institution license in Luxembourg, authorizing it to provide regulated services in the European Economic Area, and possesses operational qualifications in multiple locations including Hong Kong, Australia, the United States, and Canada.
