Bank of Japan raises interest rates by 25 basis points as expected.

BlockBeats news, September 18: The Bank of Japan raised interest rates by 25 basis points, increasing the target rate from 1.00% to 1.25%, the highest level in 31 years, in line with market expectations, with a 7-2 vote on the interest rate policy decision.


The Bank of Japan stated that it will continue to raise interest rates in accordance with economic and price developments as well as financial conditions.
