Tom Lee: Most investors assume future opportunities based on the current market, underestimating the growth potential of projects.

BlockBeats news, September 17: Tom Lee, Chairman of BitMine, the largest Ethereum treasury company, said in an interview that most investors perform poorly in growth investing, and one of the biggest mistakes is focusing too much on what a project is currently doing rather than what new technology could make it become.

Tom Lee believes that growth investing requires establishing clear baseline scenarios and fully understanding the potential total addressable market. Investors often assume that future opportunities are limited to the current market, thereby underestimating a project's growth potential. Although new technology brings uncertainty, speculation, and innovation, most investors tend to focus more on the risks involved rather than the potential opportunities.
