Opinion: The CLARITY Act will not be 'dead on arrival'; the U.S. has a responsibility to regulate the crypto industry.

BlockBeats news, September 16: U.S. Senator and Democrat Angela Alsobrooks stated that despite voting against the CLARITY Act today, this does not mean that crypto market structure legislation will be "dead on arrival."

Alsobrooks said that more than 70 million Americans are currently participating in this still inadequately regulated industry, so Congress "has a responsibility to regulate." She had previously participated in negotiations on the GENIUS Act and the CLARITY Act.

Regarding today's vote, Alsobrooks accused Republican leadership of "playing games," arguing that Republicans pushed for this vote while refusing to address what she called Trump's "corruption" issues in the crypto space.
