DeepSeek Harness adds Browser Use and Computer Use: it can now operate web pages and also take over local apps.

Beating AI News Flash: DeepSeek Harness's latest v0.1.6-alpha.1 simultaneously adds experimental Browser Use and Computer Use. The model can now directly operate web pages and also view and control the local desktop.

Browser Use supports Playwright MCP, Chrome DevTools MCP, and Stagehand, and can directly operate web pages. Computer Use, meanwhile, integrates with Cua Driver, and can locate specific apps and windows, capture screenshots of the current interface, and then perform clicks and input based on interface elements or coordinates. The official release provides two Computer Use integration methods: MCP and native.

Both capabilities are currently experimental features and need to be manually enabled. Computer Use also requires granting screen reading and computer operation permissions to the application actually running it.
