BlockBeats news, September 15: Stablecoin payment infrastructure company Fin.com has completed a $20 million seed funding round and officially emerged from stealth mode. The funding round was completed in August, led by Expa and Uber co-founder Garrett Camp, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Tenet Fund, Figure founder, Mesh founder Bam Azizi, Second Sight Ventures, as well as sovereign wealth and royal family offices in the Gulf and Africa regions.
Headquartered in New York, Fin.com was co-founded by Nabeel Alamgir and Mustafa Dar. It primarily provides white-label payment infrastructure for financial services companies, consumer platforms, and prediction markets, helping businesses convert stablecoins into funds in local bank accounts or digital wallets and supporting cross-border fund transfers.
The company states that its tools can help prediction market users top up wallets through trading platforms such as Binance and Crypto.com, while also assisting platforms with cross-border corporate fund settlements. Currently, Fin.com has not disclosed specific clients, but says its clients collectively serve over 800 million users. The funding valuation has not been made public.
Fin.com lists South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East as key markets, and has currently established offices in New York, Las Vegas, Dubai, Dhaka, Bangalore, and Lahore.
