Solana treasury company DFDV adds 55,491 SOL, establishes $300 million CHAD financing facility to continue increasing its position.

BlockBeats news, September 14: Solana treasury company DeFi Development Corp. (Nasdaq: DFDV) announced that its SOL and equivalents holdings increased by 55,491 tokens to approximately 2.3889 million, up about 2% from August 27. The company stated that continuously buying SOL and generating yield through staking and other methods is driving further growth in its SOL asset scale.

Meanwhile, DFDV established an ATM offering program for up to $300 million of CHAD perpetual preferred stock, with R.F. Lafferty & Co. serving as sole sales agent. The company plans to issue CHAD at a price of no less than $10 per share, with proceeds mainly used to further purchase SOL. The company emphasized that establishing the ATM does not mean immediate fundraising, nor is there any obligation to sell shares.

DFDV stated that the new financing instrument will further strengthen its capital cycle of "financing—buying SOL—generating yield—increasing SOL per share." The company said that so far in the third quarter, SOL has outperformed the Nasdaq 100 Index by 39%, and DFDV's performance during the same period was approximately 2 times that of SOL.
