Bitget CEO's 8th Anniversary Open Letter: From Follower to Leading Innovation, the Pursuit of Trading Excellence Has No Finish Line

BlockBeats news, September 14 — Bitget celebrates its 8th anniversary, with CEO Gracy releasing an anniversary open letter. She candidly acknowledged that when Bitget proposed the Universal Exchange (UEX) strategy a year ago, there was no shortage of skepticism from the outside, but the team chose to respond with product execution. She stated that the starting point of UEX is to solve the fragmentation across assets, accounts, time, and geography, enabling users to trade global quality assets in a one-stop manner. Now that more and more top exchanges are beginning to build out traditional financial trading, Gracy calls 2025 to 2026 the "first year of multi-asset trading."

In the letter, Gracy wrote that over the past year, Bitget has moved from "follower" to "leader in product innovation," successively launching products including stock perpetual contracts, Pre-IPO, cross-asset unified accounts, rToken, and Hong Kong stock Quanto contracts. Data shows that non-crypto asset trading volume has peaked at 40% of the platform's total trading volume, TradFi contracts and CFDs each surpassed $10 billion in single-day trading volume, and rToken cumulative transactions exceeded 3 million.

Looking ahead to the next phase, institutional business will become Bitget's core direction. As of the second quarter of 2026, Bitget's institutional client net asset scale has cumulatively grown 45% compared to the third quarter of 2025, with core active market makers increasing from 90 to 248. In the future, the platform will continue to optimize trade execution, asset security, and institutional service pathways. Gracy wrote at the end of the open letter: "The pursuit of trading excellence has no completion—only continuous progress. The era of multi-asset trading has only just begun."
