JPMorgan has cut off financing to the fund under Leopold, the "AI stock god".

BlockBeats news, September 13: JPMorgan has cut off financing to "AI stock god" Leopold's hedge fund Situational Awareness. People familiar with the matter said that JPMorgan, as one of the fund's main securities lending and financing counterparties, notified the other party to terminate the lending relationship after losses were disclosed; neither side commented.

Other Wall Street banks have not all withdrawn from Situational Awareness. Goldman Sachs, Citi, and Bank of America are still providing brokerage services to the fund, and Situational Awareness recently also connected with boutique brokerage Clear Street. Leopold previously admitted to investors after the blowup that the fund had come close to "unacceptable permanent capital impairment," and said it would reduce leverage and continue to stay long on AI fundamentals. In the past two weeks, the fund has again begun buying bullish options on AMD, Bloom Energy, CoreWeave, SK Hynix, and SanDisk, still trying to return to the market.
