Iran to discuss new route in Strait of Hormuz with relevant countries

BlockBeats news, September 13: Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi said in an interview on the 13th that the meeting to be held in Oman on the 14th will focus on a new maritime channel in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran will then present to participating countries the details of the relevant agreement reached between Iran and Oman and the roadmap for the new channel. Araghchi stressed that the agreement between Iran and Oman does not mean the Strait of Hormuz will be reopened. The precondition for Iran to reopen the strait is that the United States resumes fulfilling its commitments under the "Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding." (CCTV News)
