BlockBeats news, September 13: Pump.fun announced the launch of a "Holder Rewards" mechanism and the cancellation of the Cashback model. Going forward, token creators issuing new coins can choose between the standard "Creator Fee" model and the "Holder Rewards" model.
Under the Holder Rewards model, the relevant fees will be transferred to the Pump.fun distribution wallet, and the platform will automatically perform multiple proportional distributions every hour. Users with holdings worth more than $20 are eligible to receive rewards, and the more they hold, the more rewards they receive. Rewards are paid in the quote token of the trading pair; for example, tokens paired with SOL will distribute rewards in SOL.
Existing Cashback and Creator Fee model tokens can apply to convert to Holder Rewards tokens, and the conversion cannot be revoked. SOL and USDC trading pairs will continue to use tiered fee rates that decrease as market capitalization grows; custom trading pairs can set a fixed fee rate of 0.01% to 3%, which cannot be changed once determined.
