ZachXBT: Revolut Allegedly Fails to Identify Fraudulent Requests, Leading to Leak of Some Users' Personal Information

BlockBeats news, September 12: According to on-chain detective ZachXBT in a post on their personal channel, Revolut is suspected of failing to identify a fraudulent request, leading to the leakage of some users' personally identifiable information (PII). The leaked information includes copies of passports or driver's licenses and verification selfies, account statements, IBANs, withdrawal records, complete transaction history including Bitcoin transactions, as well as names, dates of birth, occupations, home addresses, emails, and phone numbers.

ZachXBT stated that the number of users involved in this incident may be limited, but it appears to target high-net-worth users, and multiple Revolut users received related security alert emails yesterday.
