Codex Product Lead: Multiple quality issues with Astra have been fixed, reset to occur before midnight today.

Beating AI News Flash: OpenAI Codex product lead Tibo has issued an update regarding recent quality issues reported by Astra users, stating that the team has identified and fixed multiple defects and will perform a reset before midnight local time (12 PM Beijing time).

Tibo stated that after collaborating with some users, the team confirmed and fixed the following issues:

1) Abnormal triggering of legacy model skills: Some skills written for previous models were triggering too frequently or causing the model to fail to check its own work.

2) Context management experiment disabled: An optional context management experiment could cause premature stopping or replying to old messages, and has now been disabled. According to rough estimates, approximately 4,000 to 5,000 users were affected by this experiment.

3) Removal of misconfigured engines: Some engines were misconfigured, causing measurable quality degradation in tail traffic flowing through them, and have now been removed.

Additionally, the team made some minor improvements, stating that the overall experience should see noticeable enhancement, including more consistent execution, more accurate tracking of users' latest messages, and improved checking of results as work progresses.
