A news trader paid $36,000 in node bribes and gas fees to front-run the purchase of "Niu Lai," ultimately ending up with a loss of $14,000.

BlockBeats News, September 9 - According to on-chain analyst Yu Ying's monitoring, at 19:30 today, after Binance released the "Bull Run" listing announcement, a news trader seized the first-second buy opportunity through a private RPC channel right after the announcement. The trader paid 42.4 BNB (approximately $31,000) as a bribe to node BNB48 Club, plus an additional 6.87 BNB (approximately $5,150) in Gas fees, and then used 200 BNB (approximately $150,000) to purchase 1.422 million Bull Run tokens at a buy price of around $0.1.

Within the following 15 minutes, the trader sold all tokens at approximately $0.12, receiving about $172,000 USDT, with a trading profit of roughly $22,000. However, the combined node bribe and Gas costs totaled approximately $36,000, resulting in an actual loss of about $14,000 after deducting related expenses.

Despite successfully securing an early trading position, the subsequent price increase of Bull Run failed to cover the trader's high front-running costs.
