动察 Beating AI Flash News: Herdr releases version 0.9.0, adding multi-machine management. It can be understood as a tmux specifically designed for Coding Agents: run Claude Code, Codex, Cursor Agent CLI, and others inside it, uniformly managing them in the background, switching, and checking status. Even if the terminal is closed or the SSH connection drops, Agents can continue running.
Now, a single Herdr client can simultaneously connect to local machines and multiple SSH machines, bringing projects and Agents from different machines into the same sidebar. You can directly see which Agent is working, which is waiting for approval or asking questions, and click in to continue operations.
Currently, these Agents cannot call or collaborate with each other across machines; cross-machine Agent collaboration remains on the roadmap for future releases.
