动察 Beating AI Flash: Xiaomi has unveiled its first-generation MiMo-X series, with the initial lineup including two models: MiMo-X-Pro-Preview and MiMo-X-Flash-Preview.
The public access point currently available is the newly launched Xiaomi MiMo Desktop, where invited users can use it for free on a limited-time, limited-quota basis. The company has yet to disclose the parameter counts, context lengths, benchmark scores, or API availability timelines for the two models.
MiMo-X is designed for professional workflows such as complex reasoning, multi-agent collaboration, large-scale programming projects, Office tasks, web and interaction design, video editing, 3D generation, music creation, and computer control. MiMo Desktop can directly read materials like documents, spreadsheets, images, and videos, automatically break down tasks, invoke tools and browsers, and deliver editable outputs such as PPTs, web pages, and apps. Large-scale tasks can also be split across multiple agents for collaborative execution.
Three weeks ago, Xiaomi teased during its earnings call that the first MiMo desktop application and new models were on the way. Now, both have entered preview testing together.
