BlockBeats News, September 8 - According to the token disclosure document released by LAPTOP, the Meme coin named after the son of the former U.S. President Biden, the total supply of LAPTOP is 1 billion tokens, with 350 million tokens unlocked at the Token Generation Event (TGE), accounting for 35% of the total supply. Among these, first-day community airdrop, future airdrops, and liquidity each account for 10%, while the foundation treasury holds 5%.
Of the 100 million LAPTOP tokens allocated for the first-day airdrop, 20 million are planned to be distributed by partner platforms to users who incurred losses in TRUMP trading, while 80 million will be directed to users who subscribed to Hunter Biden's "Where's Hunter" Substack before September 6. The claim period is 30 days, and any unclaimed tokens after this period will be permanently burned; the 100 million tokens for future airdrops will be allocated at the discretion of the Phoenix Veritas Foundation.
The liquidity portion totals 100 million tokens, designated for providing tokens to trading platforms, market makers, and decentralized exchange liquidity pools. The foundation has signed market-making loan agreements with G20 and GSR, lending out a combined 20.5 million LAPTOP tokens, representing 2.05% of the total supply. These tokens are included in the liquidity allocation and do not constitute additional issuance.
The remaining 65% of the supply includes a 30% founder share, a 30% prediction mechanism share, and a 5% charity share. Founder tokens are locked for 6 months and then unlock linearly over 24 months, while prediction mechanism tokens are locked for 12 months and then unlock over 24 months.
