BonkGuy: MEME could become the representative Meme coin of this cycle, and if the narrative of tokenized equities spreads, its market cap could reach billions of dollars.

BlockBeats News, September 7 - Renowned trader BonkGuy responded to外界 allegations of "insider trading," stating that he is not an insider but rather built his MEME position gradually over several days. His average entry market cap for MEME is approximately $45 million, with cumulative investment exceeding $500,000. He noted that if he were an insider, he would theoretically have bought when MEME's market cap was below $1 million, rather than continuously building a position around an average market cap of roughly $45 million.

BonkGuy stated that he initially missed MEME when its market cap was below $10 million, only to watch it surge to $150 million within hours, which made him realize MEME could become one of the most representative Meme coins of this cycle. He believes MEME's greatest potential lies in the emerging "stock Meme (meme/stock)" narrative. This narrative has already driven rapid gains across multiple related tokens, with AI on the Robinhood chain reaching a market cap of $320 million at one point, MARSCOIN on BNB Chain hitting $260 million, and STONK on Solana reaching $220 million. BonkGuy believes this market is still in its early stages and is attracting RWA enthusiasts, retail traders, and traditional finance observers into the Meme market.

BonkGuy also noted that MEME is currently at the center of discussions between Robinhood founder Vlad Tenev and AMC's CEO regarding the legitimacy of stock-linked tokens. He believes this controversy could become a major catalyst for the entire stock Meme narrative: if ultimately validated, MEME could enter a new growth phase with potential to reach a market cap of billions of dollars; conversely, it could undermine the entire narrative.

BonkGuy revealed that Robinhood helped DOGE reach a market cap of approximately $88 billion in the previous cycle, introducing a large number of retail investors to Meme coins for the first time. He believes that if the same user base sees a token named "Meme" on Robinhood in the future, its viral effect could be further amplified; if stock Memes even influence real stock markets and trigger a Meme stock short squeeze similar to 2021, the related narrative could heat up further. He had not originally planned to publicly disclose his full investment thesis this early, but decided to do so only because Vlad Tenev suddenly followed the MEME account that day while MEME's price began rising rapidly.

Additionally, BonkGuy stated that his FOMO portfolio reached an all-time high of approximately $28 million late last week, becoming the first account to achieve an eight-figure asset scale in less than four months since the platform's launch. He also claimed that his 7-day, 30-day, and cumulative PNL all exceed those of the second-place account by more than double.
