Insightful Beating AI News: Nscale, focusing on AI cloud computing, is seeking pre-IPO funding, aiming to raise up to $3.5 billion. According to sources, the London-based company plans to sell up to $1.5 billion in convertible bonds to investors and is seeking approximately $2 billion in funding support from NVIDIA.

Sources say Daniel Loeb's Third Point will lead the convertible bond investment, with Goldman Sachs involved in the financing arrangement. Following this funding round, Nscale also plans to go public, with earlier reports suggesting the IPO could raise around $3 billion. Nscale has informed investors that the company's total contract value is about $10.3 billion, including a $45 billion computing power supply agreement with Anthropic.

The company expects future annual revenue of around $18.1 billion, adjusted EBITDA of approximately $13.6 billion, emphasizing that these figures are only illustrative estimates and not formal guidance. Nscale is constructing a large data center campus in Norway for Microsoft's use and is laying out a major project in West Virginia, USA. The company has currently purchased approximately 194,000 NVIDIA Vera Rubin GPUs.
