Notional Finance Suspected to Be Hacked, Around $1.7 million DAI and USDC Stolen

BlockBeats News, September 4th, according to PeckShield citing Specter Monitor, the escrow contract of the fixed-rate borrowing protocol Notional Finance was reportedly attacked, resulting in a loss of approximately $1.7 million in DAI and USDC.

The attacker subsequently converted the stolen funds into about 689.2 ETH and further deposited the funds into Tornado Cash. Currently, the specific cause of the attack and the final extent of the loss are still pending further confirmation by the project team.
