The three major US stock indexes opened higher, with the storage sector bucking the trend and experiencing a widespread decline, led by a 5.1% drop in Western Digital.

BlockBeats News, September 3rd, according to BIT (bit.com) market data, the US stock market opened with the Dow rising by 0.59%, the S&P 500 up by 0.4%, and the Nasdaq up by 0.45%. The storage sector saw a general decline:


SanDisk (SNDK) dropped by 1.6%, Micron Technology (MU) dropped by 2.2%, SkyHigh (SKHY) dropped by 3.4%, Western Digital (WDC) dropped by 5.1%, Seagate Technology (STX) dropped by 4%.
