X-Agent AI MCP Hackathon 2026 is set to kick off on September 2nd, with a dual track competition for the USDT and X-Points grand prizes.

BlockBeats News, September 1st. X-Agent announced that the X-Agent AI MCP Hackathon 2026 will officially kick off on September 2nd, targeting global developers and teams to solicit Agent and MCP applications with practical value and verifiability. This event is a global online competition supported by OlaXBT.

The hackathon sets up two tracks: the Open Innovation Track encourages participants to develop any practical API-driven Agent or MCP capabilities around AI, crypto assets, data, automation, and Agent infrastructure; the OlaXBT × X-Agent Trading Challenge opens OlaXBT Nexus MCP to participating teams, supporting them in utilizing capabilities such as strategy development, backtesting, performance analysis, and market data to validate trading strategies and build relevant Agent or MCP applications.

The total rewards for this event include USDT and X-Points. The first-place team in each track will receive a $500 USDT reward; the top five teams in each track will collectively receive X-Points. X-Points can be used to participate in the X-Agent airdrop token $XAGT exchange. Award-winning and selected projects will also have the opportunity to receive support such as MCP standardization, ecosystem exposure, market integration, and paid call commercialization.

Registration and the development period for the event will be from September 2nd to September 19th. Technical review and selection will take place from September 20th to October 1st, and the list of winners is expected to be announced from October 2nd to 4th. Participating projects need to be submitted through the official GitHub repository.
