BlockBeats News, September 1st, SHEIN officially debuted on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange today, with the stock symbol SHEIN-W, code 00625. The company's IPO was priced at HK$48.56 per share, raising approximately HK$13.6 billion, with a market valuation of around $26 billion. On the first day of trading, SHEIN opened flat at the issue price, then quickly declined, falling to around HK$43.72 at one point, a decrease of about 10%.
Of note, within the Hyperliquid ecosystem, the SHEIN Pre-IPO market on Trade.xyz once again demonstrated strong price discovery capabilities. Yesterday, the SHEIN trading pair on Trade.xyz experienced a flash crash of 15%, preemptively pricing in SHEIN's debut dip.
At the time of writing, the xyz:SHEIN contract price is around $5.69, equivalent to approximately HK$44.6 based on the exchange rate, closely mirroring the price range of around HK$44 that SHEIN traded at during its Hong Kong stock debut.
