ZEC Privacy Transaction Generation Time Expected to Decrease from 3 Seconds to Under 200 Milliseconds

BlockBeats News, August 31st, the Zcash development team released the open-source cryptographic toolkit Zakura Common, which can reduce the time required to generate a wallet for a shielded transaction from over 3 seconds to less than 200 milliseconds in some cases. Zakura stated that the new code has increased processing speeds on mobile devices by over 14 times, on desktop devices by over 5 times, hash processing speeds by over 21 times, and node validation for shielded transactions by approximately 4 to 8 times.

This toolkit does not require an upgrade to the Zcash network and can be directly adopted by wallet developers. Currently, Zakura has implemented the new technology stack in version 1.3.0, and Vizor Wallet has become one of the first wallets to adopt this technology.
