Analyst: Bitcoin's Realized Cap Sees Strongest Growth Since This Bear Market Cycle, Surging Over $4.6 Billion in the Past Week

BlockBeats News, August 30th, CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost stated that Bitcoin's weekly realized cap continues to rise, increasing by over $4.6 billion in the past week, indicating that the inflow of funds has provided support for BTC's current uptrend. This is the strongest realized cap growth for Bitcoin since entering a bear market, and the trend pattern is similar to certain stages of the previous bear market.

Realized cap growth does not entirely represent new capital inflow, as some investors who bought at higher levels may choose to sell at a stop loss, thereby forming new UTXOs at a lower realized price. However, based on BTC's price action during the same period, market demand still outweighs the selling pressure.

Darkfost believes that although this change is a notable short-term signal, the overall magnitude is still limited, with a mere 0.4% average change in realized cap over 30 days. It is currently not sufficient to confirm a sustained shift in market trends, and further data validation is still needed.
