Grok Bot Deeply Integrates with X: Can Search Posts, Read Timeline, and Long-Term Track Updates

Perceive Beating AI News Update: SpaceXAI has integrated Grok Bot with X. Users linking their X account will have a developer account automatically created if they do not have one. In addition, paid Grok Bot users will receive a complimentary X API call quota.

After integration, Grok Bot can now directly search posts, read personal timelines, check mentions, summarize the latest activities on X, and view/manage bookmarks. Previously, accessing the X API required applying for a developer account and configuring the API, but now these steps are mostly handled by Grok Bot.

With Grok Bot's continuous operation capability, users can have it monitor X for extended periods, automatically organize hot topics, track accounts, or periodically summarize saved content.

However, currently, Grok Bot can only read X content and manage bookmarks; it cannot create posts, reply, like, repost, or send direct messages. Although the authorization page also requests broader permissions like managing lists and blocking accounts, these actions have not yet appeared among the 25 tools offered by the X plugin.
