Earlier reports indicated that the Meme token GOLD was created on Solana yesterday at 7:38, with an address that controlled over 82% of the tokens through token distribution and buying after listing. Around 9 o'clock, the merchandise collaboration account @realtrumpcoins1 associated with Trump tweeted the GOLD contract address, causing the token's market value to briefly surge to $66 million.
Around 11:48, the tweet was deleted, and the associated address immediately began massive sell-offs. The GOLD market value plummeted from $55 million to $1 million in about 30 seconds, as the scammer continued to dump tokens, eventually selling all the held tokens and making a total profit of about 9784.6 SOL (approximately $1.01 million).
