Abu Dhabi Royal Family Member Holds 49% Stake in WLFI New Bank Holding Company

BlockBeats News, August 28th, Abu Dhabi royal family member and UAE National Security Advisor Tahnoon bin Zayed al Nahyan, together with co-investors, holds a 49% stake in World Liberty Financial's new banking venture WLTC Holdings, making him the largest shareholder; Trump family-affiliated entities hold approximately 38%.


The U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency has conditionally approved World Liberty's establishment of a nationwide trust bank this month for issuing, redeeming, and custodying its stablecoin USD1. Last year, Tahnoon also invested $500 million in World Liberty through another entity and acquired a 49% stake, with about $263 million flowing to Trump family-related entities. (WSJ)
